New Chipboard Alpha's From Jillibean Soup

I got the pleasure of playing with the new Chipboard Alpha's from Jillibean Soup, and  yes you need them! The colors are so pretty! And they come in both upper and lower case in the same package. Check out some of the projects I used them on, this layout was on display in the Jillibean Soup booth at CHA...

Photo Credit goes to my son Jordan, he went to NYC last year for Spring Break. Not only are the Alpha's new but the paper line Sightseeing Stew is as well. See the little Statue Of Liberty on the green pattern paper?! Cute!!

The details..
Isn't that camera the cutest! There is a whole page of them in this line!
Cutest little Geotag too!

Oh Snap Card
I whipped up this fun little card too, with those cutsie camera's.

I don't know when I started using the work cute so much!

Paper Obsession - Jillibean Soup

I am completely obsessed with this paper line Heart Healthy Red Bean Soup from Jillibean Soup! I could use it forever and ever! They had me at kraft... This paper isn't just for Valentines.... it's all about love which means you can use it all year round! And I have a few more projects to share that I made with this paper line, but for today I'll share this one layout, which is featured on the Jillibean Soup blog today as well.

So Much Personality
Something about black & white pictures lately has me inspired to create. I snapped these photo's of my boy on his 11th birthday. This is not the last that you will see of them, you've been warned!

Love is in the details...
Here is proof that you can use pink and hearts on layouts with boys!
The only item on this layout that is not Jillibean Soup is the doily. That's it, the rest is all Jillibean!

I also made a quick tag with some scraps and leftover's. And a quick appearance from those enamel dots that I talked about earlier this week.

That's all I have for today! Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired!

Sunshine? What? Where?

As I write this post it is snowing, we may get up to 7 inches of snow today. Add that to all the snow that we have already, ugh! On the positive side the temperature is above 20 degrees today. Haven't seen that much lately. It's safe to say that I am over winter and ready to start whining about being too hot. I'm sure somebody has it worse that me..

Since the sun isn't shining outside, I though I would bring some sunshine to my blog! I made this fun little card with Jillibean Soup products, check it out...

You Are My Sunshine
Ohh, so I got the tag punch from Stampin Up! that I used here to make my tags. I know that this particular punch will get lots of action! I love it!!

The Details..
Jillibean Soup has some of the cutest embellishments! The corrugated sun, so sweet paired with great patterns.

Hope this little cards brightens your day!

Thanks for stopping, see you soon!

Where I Teach...

Many of you know that I teach at classes at my local scrapbook store. I have been with them for quite some time now and I truly enjoy designing and teaching classes. This is where my scrapbooking obsession started! The store has new owners and a new look! If you are local you must stop in and see all of the changes. There's so much product! New stuff, old stuff and familiar stuff!

I am still offering classes and thought I would share a sneak peek here...

A Fun Christmas Layout class which includes two 12X12 layouts and a couple of cards. All using paper like the sneak peek photo above.

Sweet & Simple Cards - Masculine Edition. I thought I would try something different and give all of the cards a masculine spin, haven't done that before. It is so easy to created feminine/girly cards, can't forget about the guys though!

Both of my classes still have a couple of spaces left and I also offer kits if you cannot make the dates. I will be adding the dates to my sidebar -->>

Thanks for stopping by!

Just Be You - A Bella Blvd Layout

Got creative with some new Bella Blvd products! Love all of the stars in the newly released lines! Check out my layout....

Just Be You
Added lots of layers, and little embellishments. I love how my black & white photo popped off the page!

The details..
I love to created clusters of embellishments on my layouts. I'm guessing you may have already figured that out about me. I have also recently realized that most of my embellishments are on the right side of my pages. I'm going to try to use the left side a bit more in the future, just to mix it up a bit.
I currently have a small obsession with those enamel dots. I want to add them to everything! Hold me back!!

What have you been up to lately? Me, just work.... lots of work, it's cutting into my creative time. Working on finding balance, it's a process. Spent my day off (yesterday) with my family, went to see the Lego movie. It was way better than I expected it to be, that Will Ferrell is a hoot!

Thanks for hanging in there with me as my posts are few and far in between lately.

I Created!

It's true, I did! And it was so easy this time, the idea just flowed. I love it when that happens! I actually did a couple of layouts, I was on a roll! Yup, I'm pretty excited because I love them both. It was so easy and I haven't been feeling that way lately, I think I'm back!

Anyways, I just wanted to share a sneak peek....
Lots of layers!

I will be back later this week to share the full project.

On another note, weather does not cooperate with me for photographing my projects, I don't have a great place inside with lots of natural lighting, so I'm that neighbor standing in my yard (sometimes with the towel on my head of wet hair) trying to photograph my projects whenever I can get Mother Nature to work with me. You are picturing me with a towel on my head right now trying to take pictures of projects right? Sorry! Anyhow, I went a little extreme (enabled by Jen Chapin) and purchased some equipment to get great photos indoors, a n y t i m e  I want to! So, nah to Mother Nature! NAH!
